October 1st, 2010 3 Types of ACL Reconstruction
The ACL is the most common knee ligament injury because of its precarious position. The ACL (Anterior Cruciate Ligament) runs through the center of the knee, crossing in front of the PCL (Posterior Cruciate Ligament). The MCL (Medial Collateral Ligament) is on the inside of the knee, while the LCL (Lateral Collateral Ligament) runs along the outside of the knee.
