Gefitinib or Chemotherapy for Non–Small Cell Lung Cancer with Mutated EGFR
AstraZeneca’s Gefitinib (Iressa) has had a bit of a chequered history since it’s fast track approval by the the Japanese Health Authority in 2002 and the FDA in 2003 for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). However, since the phase III trials did not appear to generate a significant overall survival advantage, it has been available in the US, Canada and Switzerland under strict labelling restrictions based on the ISEL study since 2005.

Arugala, Purslane, Mizuna Green Salad with Feta and Fava
Boy the Hillcrest, San Diego Farmer’s Market has gotten better and better as more and more people are understanding the value of Organic, Locally Grown Produce . In fact, anyone with even a couple of wine barrels (purchase in the off season from a garden supply for $18…get good organic soil like Edna’s Best from City Nursery in City Heights…compost your kitchen scraps with red earthworms and make your own compost) and some decent sun can grow lots of “locally grown” organic vegetables. Greens like dandelion, arugla, sorrel, and purslane grow practically like weeds, take very little space and require virtually no pest control
